The famous Kirkstile Inn, Loweswater is situated in a magical place, nestling amongst the stunning fells in the heart of the North West Lake District just a short distance from the Lakes of Loweswater and Crummock Water.
Providing food and shelter since Tudor times, Kirkstile offers self catering, 11 quality rooms including a family suite, log fires, oak beams and a wealth of history. A classic Lake District pub!
Kirkstile's team of six chefs are serious about good food. We have a deserved reputation for unpretentious, home-cooked meals and place great emphasis on local Cumbrian and Lake District suppliers.
Kirkstile Inn has one of the most famous bars in the Lake District, and one of the greatest beer gardens! Our brewery Cumbrian Legendary Ales produces the 2011 Champion Golden Ale of Britain, Loweswater Gold and our bar normally has a range of 6 cask beers available. Kirkstile Inn has won the award of CAMRA West Cumbria Branch Pub of the Year five times and in 2011 was runner up.
Kirkstile is an inn of unique character ... enjoy the Kirkstile experience!
